India's Women's World Cup 2025 winning team enjoys at The Great India Kapil Sharma Show

The Indian Women’s World Cup 2025 winning side, which beat the South Africa side in the final at the Dr. DY Patel Cricket Stadium in Navi Mumbai, even after being under pressure and staying at a place of getting disqualified ahead of the knockout stages, has joined the Great India Kapil Sharma Show as the video goes viral on social media platforms.

Their captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, the aggressive opening batter, Shafali Varma, the number three batter of the side, Jemimah Rodrigues, the wicket-keeper batter- Richa Ghosh, attended the show with the all-rounders and bowlers- Kranti Gaud or Renuka Singh Thakur, along with head coach- Amol Mazumdar in the show.

There was a point in the trailer of the show, which showed that Kapil asked Harmanpreet about thebhangra danceshe did while lifting the World Cup, to which the Indian captain pointed out Rodrigues and Verma, who requested her to dance like that. It was, indeed, a superb recovery from the national side.

India finished the group stage of the competition in fourth position in the points table, where they claimed only three wins in seven clashes at a net run rate of +0.628, with the wins coming over Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand, while their game against Bangladesh was washed out.

In the semifinal of the event at the DY Patil Stadium against Australia Women, Australia posted a massive score of 338 runs in the first innings. The hosts completed the chase by five wickets with nine balls to spare as Rodrigues smashed a fine, unbeaten knock of 127 runs in 134 balls at a strike rate of 94.78, with the help of 14 boundaries.

In the final, the Indian side put a massive score of 298/7 in their allotted 50 overs with Varma drilling 87 runs in 78 balls. Deepti Sharma also contributed with a run-a-ball 58 runs as they bundled out the Proteas for 246 runs to win the contest by 52 runs to lift their maiden Women’s World Cup.
