Bumrah’s instant impact ends Ravindra’s stay

Kuldeep Yadav delivered the first big blow by removing Conway soon after the century stand, but it was Bumrah’s return to the attack that truly halted New Zealand’s charge. Bowling his first delivery of the spell, Bumrah rolled his fingers over the ball and sent down a well-disguised slower delivery on a short-of-a-length. Rachin Ravindra, still settling in, looked to work it into the onside but was early into the shot.

Bumrah showed sharp awareness, completing a comfortable caught-and-bowled in his follow-through to dismiss Ravindra for 2.
