In the ongoing showdown between LSG and RCB, RCB's Nuwan Thushara delivers an absolute peach to send Matthew Breetzke's off stump flying out of the ground. After inserting LSG to have a bat first, RCB bowlers were taken to the cleaners as both Breetzke and Marsh were able to find the middle of the bat regularly enough.

But Thushara's unplayable yorker left Breetzke clueless and eventually got the better of him. The dismissal took place during the fourth ball of the third over. The South African south paw had already got his feet moving quite nicely against him and was looking to switch through the gears.

However, Thushara was equal to the task.  Breetzke made his intentions very clear as he was looking to go downtown against him and backed away too far, very quickly. This early movement exposed all his stumps, and all Thushara had to do was aim at the stumps. He was able to adjust his radar just in the right frame of time and land a searing away-swinging yorker which went right under his bat to obliterate the off stump.

The entire RCB unit erupted in joy as Kohli came running in to congratulate him and pat him on his back. Thushara himself was a relieved man as he was able to provide the first breakthrough for his side. However, that joy soon turned out to be short-lived. That wicket resulted in Pant's arrival, and he went all guns blazing to turn the tide back in the favor of LSG. At the time of writing, LSG had officially crossed the halfway mark and found themselves 106-1 in 10.3 overs with Pant motoring along nicely on 52*.
