Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicket-keeping batter, is currently undergoing medical treatment after he broke his foot during the fourth Test of the five-match series against England at Old Trafford in Manchester. He looked to sweep Chris Woakes as the ball hit him on the bridge of the foot, which resulted in him missing the fifth final red-ball game of the series at Kennington Oval in South London. 

Rishabh Pant, during the break, has turned into a chef as he shared the video on Instagram of him making pizza in a cloud kitchen. He expressed that due to his love of being a vegetarian, he cooked vegetarian pizza. Pant highlighted that he did have an idea of how to use truffles in the recipe.

“I am looking like a chef. Today, I am going to show you how to make Pizza, guys. Bear with me. I think I am going to make a vegetarian pizza. I love vegetarian food. Yeah, (It’s going to be) with the truffle, but I don’t know how to use truffle man. I think if I make more pizzas, then I will be sorted. It’s so hot in here, boys.” The southpaw expressed in the video.

The southpaw, who had an excellent time during the England series, smashed 479 runs in seven innings at an average of 68.42 with the help of two centuries during the opening Leeds Test at Headingley, besides collecting three half-centuries at the best score of 134 runs.

“The pizza is getting ready, and I am going to wait for these. It’s very hot in here, boys. That’s the only thing I can do with the broken foot right now, which is making pizza. My brother must be thinking that I have never made anything at home, but here I am cooking pizzas.” Pant added in the video.

During the third Test at Lord’s, he injured his finger, which saw Dhruv Jurel keeping wickets for the rest of the game as he repeated the same in Manchester. It was a brave act for the Delhi batter to bat in Manchester with the injured foot. But it could now rule him out of the Asia Cup 2025 and the two-match home Test series against the West Indies. He will eye a comeback during the away white-ball series in Australia.
