The Indian captain of the 50-over format, Rohit Sharma, is spending quality time with his family as he turned up for a cool game with his daughter, Samaira Sharma. The game is called ‘don’t spill the water’ where both of them were needed to fill the glass of water with drops of it and make sure the water doesn’t come out of the glass.

Rohit was recently seen to practice in the ground in Mumbai as he prepares himself for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia down under, having already taken retirement from the shortest and longest formats of the game, after his last action in the field came during the second qualifier of the IPL 2025 for the Mumbai Indians.

In the video that the Mumbai batter has shared on Instagram, Rohit and his daughter had been seen to fill the glass of water. It’s not an easy game given the water can flow even with a small drop of water. It seemed that Rohit’s wife, Rittika, was officiating the game. Later, at the end, the Nagpur-born lost the clash as his last drop saw the water falling off the glass.

A few weeks ago, the reports claimed that the BCCI had been planning to make Rohit and Virat Kohli play the upcoming India A series against Australia for the unofficial ODIs to prepare for the format if they don’t do well in the upcoming ODI series down under. But the selectors haven’t picked them in declaring the squad few days ago.

There must not be any question on Rohit’s position in the ODI format. Under him, India won the Champions Trophy 2025 in the United Arab Emirates, beating New Zealand in the final. The right-handed batter smashed 11168 runs in 265 innings at an average of 48.76 and a strike rate of 92.80 with the help of 32 centuries and 58 fifties at the best score of 264.

Rohit’s experienced and leadership will be viral for the Blue Brigade in the 2027 ODI World Cup. And he will love to remain in full shape for the tournament.
