Rohit Sharma's orange Lamborghini arrives in Mumbai.

It was in the third week of May this year when the Mumbai Indians’ Rohit Sharma gave away his prized Lamborghini Urus to one of the fantasy cricket contest winners. The Mumbai batter was often seen driving through the streets of the city in the iconic blue Lambo, as he handed over the car keys to the lucky winner in a heartwarming moment.

That car had a sporting registration number264and has long held sentimental value, which was a tribute to his world record 264-run innings in the 50-over format. The luxury SUV, which has a value of nearly INR 4 crore in the market, is a fan favorite over the year. However, after the IPL 2025, on August 09, another Orange Lamborghini of Rohit arrived in Mumbai.

The video went viral as the car Urus SE was delivered in Mumbai before Rohit would drive it soon. He may change the number plate very soon. It is perhaps the replacement of the car he gave away to the fan during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Rohit Sharma hasn’t been in action since the end of the IPL 2025. In 15 innings of the edition, the right-handed batter has smashed 418 runs at an average of nearly 30 and a strike rate of 150 with the help of four half-centuries at the best score of 81 runs. During that period, he announced his retirement from the longest format of the game before the five-match Test series in England.

Rohit has now hung up his shoes from the longest and shortest formats of the game. His only aim now is to be ready for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2027 in Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Namibia. There are reports that he could get axed from the national side before that, as the board, reportedly, is expected to go through an honest conversation with him and Virat Kohli.

The Nagpur-born, who has smacked 11168 runs in 265 innings at an average of 48.76 and a strike rate of nearly 93 with 32 centuries and 58 half-centuries at the best score of 264, is likely to be back for the upcoming white-ball series against Australia down under.
