In only a few days, the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 will take place in India, and the International Cricket Council (ICC) has launched the official theme song for the marquee event. Acclaimed playback singer Shreya Ghoshal sings the anthem, and her melodious voice brings a lot of glamour to the song. It has energy, rhythm, and catchy lyrics that aim to highlight the excitement of the global tournament.

ICC expressed that the anthem is an emotional fusion of melody, rhythm and feeling, intending to unite fans globally as they support the women’s game. As the world’s top players are expected to arrive in India and Sri Lanka, the track is lighting up the tournament’s prelude.

One of the features of the anthem is that it includes such unforgettable lines as “Tarikita Tarikita Tarikita Dhom” and “Dhak Dhak, we bring it home.” These heartbeat-inspired lyrics, which have been cited by the ICC on their website, are intended to motivate the fans and the players when the competition is to start.
