A few days ago, the poster of Indian umpire Anil Chaudhury, in a movie, was revealed by Epic Films Entertainment for the one called ‘Goli Toh Chalegi’. Now the teaser of the song has been released with a tagline of- ‘You trusted his decisions on the field. Now, witness his most dangerous decision yet.’ And the video, in a few minutes, went viral on social media platforms.

Anil Chaudhury, on the other hand, made a guest appearance in the past in the crime thriller series called CID, which is known for enforcing the laws on the land and making decisions in the field. Anil, who has a YouTube channel where he shares several inner details of the umpiring decisions from a particular game, will make his debut in a film.

Chaudhury has been part of 12 Test matches- four of which have been as the umpire in the field and eight of them as the third umpire. He has also officiated 49 ODIs and 64 T20I games, along with one women’s Test match and 11 women’s ODIs. In first-class cricket, he has been part of 278 games.

Chaudhury, after his retirement, has also been part of various podcasts and interviews, where he has shared the details of his way of watching the game. He has highlighted various rules and regulations of the game and the unknown umpiring decisions.
