The Indian ODI captain, Rohit Sharma, has already retired from the longest and shortest formats of the gam and has only focused on the 50-over format ahead of the 2027 World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. He featured in the previous three-match ODI series against Australia down under.

The famous comedian, Pranit More, who is a massive Rohit Sharma fan, stood for the Nagpur-born, who was at a point supposed to get dropped from the national side, let alone being removed from the leadership. Pranit Pranit More is an Indian stand-up comedian, a YouTube content creator, and a reality television personality, who is currently known as a contestant on the show 'Big Boss 19.'

“Those who are followers of the Indian cricket team, for them, it’s a very sad day. The discussion has been around putting Rohit out of the side. He is the one who won us the T20 World Cup and took us to the final of the 50-over World Cup. He was also the highest run-getter of the World Test Championship last time around. And they are talking about removing him from the team, let alone dropping him from captaincy.” Famous comedian, Pranit More, expressed.

Rohit Sharma, who struggled in the opening ODI at the Optus Stadium in Perth, smashed a fine half-century during the second game at the Adelaide Oval. In the third game, he smacked a fine unbeaten century in Sydney to complete India’s only victory of the series, to end the series on the losing end by a 2-1 margin.

“And every cricket fan got angry; and they put their anger on the head coach- Gautam Gambhir, and they felt that Gambhir is the main culprit behind dropping Rohit. And I think there is no fault for Gambhir. Because Gambhir belongs to Delhi, and Rohit is from Mumbai. So, he is not supposed to meet the good people.” Pranit addressed in his comedy show.

“Few people have a nasty argument. They are not disappointed with the removal of Rohit, but also want Virat Kohli to be excluded. But I don’t think Kohli should be removed because first of all, he is from Delhi, and at least he can breathe in some place comfortably.” He explained regarding the Mumbai opener.
