West Indies Women will face Sri Lanka Women in the third and final T20I on March 3 at the National Cricket Stadium in St. George’s, Grenada. Sri Lanka currently lead the three-match series 1-0 and will look to seal the series, while the hosts aim to level it in the last game.

The first T20I was washed out due to rain after West Indies were struggling at 49 in 13.3 overs. Sri Lanka had reached 7 without loss before the match was called off. In the second game, Sri Lanka delivered a strong performance to take the lead. After choosing to bowl, they dismissed West Indies for just 101 runs, with Hayley Matthews scoring 28. Malki Madara and Nilakshika Silva picked up three wickets each. In the chase, Chamari Athapaththu played an important knock of 39 off 26 balls and added a solid opening partnership, guiding her team to victory in 18.1 overs.

West Indies will now look for a better batting display in the final match. They will need their bowlers to rise to the occasion if they are to defend a total as well. Sri Lanka will look to build on their disciplined bowling and assured batting to finish the series on a high note on foreign soil.
