The auction list for WPL 2026 is out, and it includes 277 players who will compete for 73 slots. The auction will take place in New Delhi on November 27. Out of the total players, 194 are from India, which includes 52 capped players and 142 uncapped players. They will try to secure 50 slots. Along with them, 66 overseas capped players and 17 overseas uncapped players will compete for the remaining 23 slots. In the base-price category, 19 players have entered the highest bracket of ₹50 lakh, 11 players are in the ₹40 lakh bracket, and 88 players have registered in the ₹30 lakh bracket.

Top Players in the Marquee Set

Deepti Sharma (India), Renuka Singh (India), Sophie Devine (New Zealand), Sophie Ecclestone (England), Alyssa Healy (Australia), Amelia Kerr (New Zealand), Meg Lanning (Australia), and Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa) are part of the marquee set. Except for Renuka, who has a base price of ₹40 lakh, and Wolvaardt, who has a base price of ₹30 lakh, all the other players have set their base price at ₹50 lakh.

Indian players have the highest number in the list. Australia are next with 23 players, followed by England with 22 players. New Zealand have 13 players, and South Africa have 11. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have three players each. The UAE have two players, while Thailand (Thipatcha Putthawong) and the USA (Tara Norris) have one each. Two Australian players, Tahlia McGrath and Sophie Molineux, are not included in the final list.

Team Purses for the Auction

Among the five teams, UP Warriorz (UPW) will enter the auction with the highest purse of ₹14.50 crore. Gujarat Giants have ₹9 crore, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have ₹6.15 crore, Mumbai Indians have ₹5.75 crore, and Delhi Capitals have ₹5.70 crore.

In the Right To Match (RTM) options, UPW have four RTM cards. Gujarat Giants have three, and RCB have one. Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians do not have any RTM options.
