Warriorz lost their first three wickets for 65 runs, as three of their first four batters failed to score 15 runs. Opener Beth Mooney was dismissed for 38 off 34 balls (five fours) when they were battling at 93/4.

From the middle-order to the end of the innings, only Sophie Devine managed to fight, as she completed her fifty runs in the game on the final ball of the innings by taking a double. With the help of two fours and three sixes, she scored 50 not out off 42 balls, as her batting was the important reason for the Giants' crucial big win in the game.

Among Warriorz bowlers, Kranti Gaud (2/18) and Sophie Ecclestone (2/22) got two wickets each.

No solid batting performances at chase

In reply, Warriorz were losing wickets at regular intervals from the second ball of the match, as they were never on the chase. While Phoebe Litchfield (32) and Chloe Tryon (30) scored 30s, opener and skipper Meg Lanning (14) was their only other batter to manage the double-digit score.

All five Giants bowlers managed to take at least one wicket. Player of the Match Rajeshwari Gayakwad (3/16) picked up three wickets, while Renuka Singh (2/20) and Sophie Devine (2/16) claimed two wickets each.
