1. Virat Kohli (63 Half Centuries)

Widely regarded as one of the greatest batters of the modern era, Virat Kohli has enjoyed an extraordinary career in the Indian Premier League. Representing Royal Challengers Bengaluru for his entire IPL journey, the former captain has consistently delivered with the bat across multiple seasons. 

Kohli currently leads the list for the most half-centuries in IPL history, having registered 63 fifties in the tournament, thanks to his record of 8,661 runs in 259 innings. In addition to that, he has also struck eight centuries, further highlighting his ability to convert strong starts into big scores.

2. David Warner (62 Half Centuries)

Over the course of his IPL career, David Warner has been one of the most consistent run-scorers in the Indian Premier League, leading the Sunrisers Hyderabad to a triumphant title campaign in 2016. Warner accumulated 6,565 runs in 185 innings, while consistently providing explosive starts at the top of the order.

His ability to deliver big scores is also reflected in his record of four centuries and 62 half-centuries in the tournament. With 62 fifties, Warner currently sits second on the list of players with the most half-centuries in IPL history, highlighting his remarkable consistency across seasons.

3. Shikhar Dhawan (51 Half Centuries)

Veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan enjoyed a long and successful run in the Indian Premier League, representing multiple franchises during his career. Over the course of 16 seasons, Dhawan has represented Deccan Chargers, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, and Sunrisers Hyderabad, becoming one of the most experienced batters in the league.

 Across 222 matches, Dhawan batted in 221 innings and accumulated 6,769 runs. Known for his elegant stroke play and consistency at the top of the order, he registered two centuries and 51 half-centuries during his IPL career. With 51 fifties, Dhawan currently holds the third position among players with the most half-centuries in IPL history.
