A draw was a possibility until Nathan Lyon did his thing on a Final Day Perth track. Despite the loss, West Indies has a little to be happy about. The top-order did well. The bowlers though were disappointing. With Kemar Roach and Kyle Mayers walking off, and even when they were there, the Australians found things going easy.

Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne both were unstoppable. The difference in strength was clear as both feasted on the West Indies bowling attack.
