WTC 2027: ENG vs IND, 2nd Test, Match Prediction– Who will win the Test Match?

One win in their last nine Tests is a clear indicator of how bad the Indian Test team's downfall has been. From beating Bangladesh with hardly 2 days of Cricket to where they are now the team is losing their way fast. Catches are going down, economy rates are high and the tail is struggling to wag. The line-up is expected to see some changes with Bumrah still uncertain while the likes of Shardul Thakur, Prasidh Krishna, Karun Nair and maybe even Ravindra Jadeja face rotation.

England though are far more comfortable. Ben Duckett is in rollicking form and the batting line-up looked really good. The tail wagging on its own made a difference and England come in with a lot of confidence.

England vs India Players to Watch

KL Rahul

KL Rahul keeps the opening spot with Rohit Sharma retiring and he has a task on hand. He has been to England twice and is one of the more experienced players in the side at the moment. With a young unit behind him the onus is on Rahul, who is seen as one of the more experienced players, to get through the English attack.

Ollie Pope

Ollie Pope and Jacob Bethell were the ones fighting for a spot in the team. Pope gets the nod and at number three he has a role to play. As vice-captain his role is ideally secure but struggles at number three has given him a challenge he will be looking to face and conquer.

England vs India Match Tips

Experience and home advantage keep England in front at the moment. India though has the bowling unit and batting potential to compete and could make noise as underdogs if the young guns start strong.
