It is the new record for the best bowling figures in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup history. The previous record was 8-2-10-6 by Jackie Lord from New Zealand Women against India Women at Auckland in the 1982 edition. 

It is also the best Women's ODI bowling figures for an Australian Women bowler. The previous record was 10-4-22-7 by Ellyse Perry against England Women in the 2019 Canterbury WODI. Also, King recorded the fourth best bowling figures in the Women's ODI history.
