The Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) has announced a new scheme for the benefit of Baroda state Ranji team players. This scheme will cover current players, retired players, and even those who are not part of the BCCI scheme.

Under the BCCI's current scheme, Ranji Trophy players who are currently playing for all states earn match fees based on their experience: ₹40,000 per day for those with 1 to 20 matches, ₹50,000 per day for 21 to 40 matches, and ₹60,000 per day for players with 41 or more matches. Retired Ranji players receive a pension of ₹30,000 per month.

To provide more support to their state Ranji team, the Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) has announced a new scheme alongside the BCCI's initiatives. Under this scheme, players currently representing the Baroda Ranji team will receive ₹10,000 per day for Ranji Trophy matches in addition to the BCCI's match fees. Reserved players who are not part of the playing XI will receive ₹5,000 per day.

For retired Ranji players from the Baroda team, the scheme also offers benefits to those who are not eligible for the BCCI pension scheme. Currently, the BCCI provides a pension of ₹30,000 per month to retired players who have played 25 or more matches. However, retired players with fewer than 25 matches will now receive support from the BCA under this new scheme. Retired players who have played 11 to 24 matches will receive ₹15,000 per month, while retired players who have played 1 to 10 matches will receive ₹10,000 per month.
