North Mumbai Panthers (NMP) won against Triumph Knights MNE (TKMNE) by 38 runs in Mumbai T20 League 2025. NMP decided to bat first and compiled a massive score, which they managed to defend. However, despite the win, both teams were eliminated from the tournament.

North Mumbai Panthers Innings

North Mumbai Panthers made a batting choice an advantage after making it at the toss, courtesy of a scorching knock by skipper Prithvi Shaw, who hit 75 off only 34 balls. He was ably assisted by Harshal Jadhav, who chipped in with 46 runs off 30 balls, keeping the pace going during the middle overs. At the end, there was a flourish by Rahul Sawant with a quick 26 off 9 balls that ensured them a challenging total. For TKMNE, after a good beginning, Shreyas Gurav showed the way with 2/12 in 4 overs, while Parikshit Valsangkar and Suryansh Shedge contributed with one wicket each.

Triumph Knights MNE Innings

In pursuit of a stiff target, Triumph Knights MNE started confidently, with Siddhant Adhatrao holding the innings together with a fine 76 off 45 balls. Surya Kumar Yadav contributed a quick 29 off 16 to keep up the required rate, and Parikshit Valsangkar contributed 20 off 15 balls. But wickets continued to fall at the other end as NMP bowlers piled on relentless pressure. Pratik Mishra played with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 30, supported by Rahul Sawant's 2/23. In the end, the Knights were bowled out for 169 in 19.5 overs and were short by 38 runs.

Namo Bandra Blasters (NBB) achieved a convincing 8-wicket win over Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals (MSCMR) in Match 17 of the T20 Mumbai League 2025 at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. After winning the toss, NBB captain Aditya Tare put Mumbai South Central Batting first, which was a great decision, as they restricted MSCMR and chased down the target in 15.4 overs.

Batting first, MSCMR registered 150/8 in 20 overs. Sahil Jadhav led the way with a blistering 50 off 32 balls, ably assisted by Aditya Dhumal (30 off 18) and Chinmay Sutar (27 off 22). The team was unable to forge huge partnerships despite the impressive starts, owing to an outstanding bowling display by Namo Bandra Blasters. Dhrumil Matkar led the way with the ball, taking 4/26 in his 4 overs. He was assisted quite well by Sagar Chabria (2/24) and Dhanit Raut (1/31), who kept the scoring rate in check.

In response, NBB pursued the target at ease, scoring 151.5 in 15.4 overs. Suved Parkar scored a scorching 76 in 37 deliveries, while Vikrant Auti settled the chase with 56 in 37 balls. The two combined to post a match-winning stand, and there were no bumps in the pursuit.  In spite of a few wickets from Vaibhav Mali and Yash Ajay Gadia, MSCMR was unable to check the momentum of the Blasters. With this thorough victory, Namo Bandra Blasters qualified for the playoffs and improved their net run rate.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Prasad Pawar took center stage with a well-crafted 70 from 46 deliveries, anchoring the innings as much as maintaining a constant rate of scoring.
