Amid the legal fight with his wife, Mohammed Shami shared a surprising post on his daughter Ayra's birthday. He posted a special message with a photo on Instagram to wish his daughter on her 10th birthday.

Indian cricket team's star fast bowler Mohammed Shami showed his love for his daughter Ayra on July 17. In his post, he wished her a happy 10th birthday. This post came at a time when Shami is in a legal battle with his wife Hasin Jahan. Recently, the court asked Shami to pay money (alimony) to both Hasin Jahan and their daughter.

Shami's Surprising Post for Daughter's Birthday

Mohammed Shami, India's star fast bowler, wrote a surprising and emotional post for his daughter Ayra on her 10th birthday. He shared a photo with her on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt message.

Shami wrote, “Dear daughter, I still remember all those nights when we stayed up, talking, laughing, and especially your dance. I can't believe you are growing up so fast. I want only good things to happen to you in life. May God give you love, peace, happiness, and good health today and always. Happy birthday.”

Marriage Ended in 2018, Court Gave New Order

Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan separated in 2018. Since then, Shami has stayed away from his daughter. Ayra now lives with her mother in Kolkata. Hasin Jahan had accused Shami of harassment and other serious issues. Their marriage lasted for three years.

Recently, the Calcutta High Court ordered Shami to pay ₹1.5 lakh per month to Hasin Jahan and ₹2.5 lakh per month to his daughter Ayra. Earlier, a lower court had rejected Hasin Jahan’s demand for ₹10 lakh per month. But now the High Court has ordered a total alimony of ₹4 lakh per month.

Hasin Jahan also posted on Instagram earlier this month. She started the post with “I love you so much jaanu” but later wrote strongly against Shami. She said, “For 7 years we have been fighting a legal battle. What have you gained from it? Because of being characterless, greedy, and mean-minded, you destroyed your own family.”

Shami Out of Team Due to Injury

Shami last played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He took nine wickets in six matches. He was not picked for India's Test series in England due to injury. Shami was the top wicket-taker for India in the 2023 ODI World Cup. After the World Cup, he had surgery and has been away from cricket for more than a year.

Hasin Jahan, the ex-wife of Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami, recently made headlines after the Calcutta High Court ordered Shami to pay monthly alimony to her. Now, she was also seen on camera raising her hand at a neighbour during a heated argument. As per the court order, Shami must pay Rs 4 lakh per month — Rs 1.5 lakh to Hasin Jahan and Rs 2.5 lakh to their daughter.

Hasin Jahan Caught in Viral Video After Fight with Neighbour

Hasin Jahan, the ex-wife of Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami, is back in the headlines — this time for a completely different reason. A video has gone viral on social media showing her in a physical fight with another woman.

In the video, Hasin Jahan is seen pushing and shoving the other lady. The full incident was caught on camera, but the reason behind the fight is still unknown.

Court Orders Monthly Alimony After Past Disputes

This video came just days after the Calcutta High Court ordered Shami to pay Rs 4 lakh every month — Rs 1.5 lakh for Hasin Jahan and Rs 2.5 lakh for their daughter. This decision came after Hasin challenged a 2023 lower court ruling, which had ordered Shami to pay only Rs 50,000 per month.

After the court’s new order, Hasin said, "I used to model and act before marriage. But Shami forced me to stop working. He wanted me to live as a housewife. I loved him and agreed. But now I have no income. That’s why I had to go to court when he refused to support us."

Hasin and Shami got married in 2014. Before that, she worked as a model and was also a cheerleader for the Kolkata Knight Riders. In 2018, their relationship broke down after Hasin filed an FIR against Shami and his family, accusing them of domestic violence, dowry harassment, adultery, and even match-fixing.

Due to these serious charges, BCCI had stopped Shami’s contract, but he was cleared after the BCCI anti-corruption unit found no wrongdoing.

Shami was last seen playing in the IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad in May. He did not perform well and took only 6 wickets in 9 matches.

<![CDATA[“Wasted Money on Crooks and Prostitutes”: Hasin Jahan slams Mohammed Shami in controversial Instagram post]]> https://www.cricketwinner.com/cricket-news/wasted-money-on-crooks-and-prostitutes-hasin-jahan-slams-mohammed-shami-in-controversial-instagram-post/ https://www.cricketwinner.com/cricket-news/wasted-money-on-crooks-and-prostitutes-hasin-jahan-slams-mohammed-shami-in-controversial-instagram-post/ Sat, 05 Jul 2025 23:26:47 GMT

In a fiery Instagram post on July 4, Hasin Jahan launched an emotional and harsh attack on Mohammed Shami, accusing him of using money to bribe criminals and ruin her image over the years.

This case, which started in 2018 under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, remains one of Indian cricket’s most controversial off-field stories. Jahan, a former model, had accused Shami of domestic violence and cheating just four years after their marriage. Since then, the two have been locked in a bitter legal fight for over seven years.

In her latest post, Jahan wrote "I Love You" to Mohammed Shami, but the message turned into a long and angry rant.

Recently, the Calcutta High Court ordered Mohammed Shami to pay ₹4 lakh per month as maintenance for Hasin Jahan and their daughter Aaira. According to the court order, Hasin Jahan will receive ₹1.5 lakh per month, while their daughter will get ₹2.5 lakh per month. This amount will be applicable from a back date of seven years. The lower court has also been directed to resolve the case within six months.

In her recent Instagram post, Hasin Jahan did not hold back and called Mohammed Shami “characterless, greedy, and mean-minded.” She claimed that the Indian pacer spent money meant for their family on “crooks and prostitutes” and did everything he could to harass and humiliate her.

She wrote, “Till my last breath, we will have a strong relationship, Inshallah. The only thing left is for you to decide what kind of strong relationship that will be. For 7 years, we’ve been involved in a legal battle. What have you gained from it? Because of being characterless, greedy, and mean-minded, you ended up destroying your own family. How many criminals did you bribe to harm me, defame me, harass me, and defeat me everywhere? Did you achieve anything?”

She added, “The money you wasted on crooks and prostitutes—if you had spent that on your daughter’s education, life, and future, and given me a good life, things would’ve been so much better. You would’ve been saved from sin, and we could’ve lived a respectful and dignified life.”

Hasin Jahan has made it clear that she is not stepping back and will continue to fight for her rights through the legal system. She ended her post with a warning to Shami and the people supporting him. She wrote, “Now I will take the help of the law, claim all our rights, and live happily, Inshallah. Now you think: which support is stronger—social or legal? But remember: all the antisocial people giving you moral support right now are supporting your sins. The day your bad time begins, these same people will make your life hell, Inshallah. Have faith in that.”

Her post came shortly after the Calcutta High Court ordered Shami to pay ₹4 lakh per month as maintenance—₹1.50 lakh for Hasin Jahan and ₹2.50 lakh for their daughter Aaira. This amount will be paid from a back date covering the last seven years. The lower court has been told to finish the case within six months.

Despite all this, Mohammed Shami has remained silent. The fast bowler, who helped India win the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 earlier this year, has stayed away from the media when it comes to his personal life. He is currently out of the Indian Test team due to fitness issues.

<![CDATA['I am thankful to God...' - Hasin Jahan's huge comment on Mohammed Shami's alimony]]> https://www.cricketwinner.com/cricket-news/i-am-thankful-to-god-hasin-jahan-s-huge-comment-on-mohammed-shami-s-alimony/ https://www.cricketwinner.com/cricket-news/i-am-thankful-to-god-hasin-jahan-s-huge-comment-on-mohammed-shami-s-alimony/ Thu, 03 Jul 2025 20:44:37 GMT

Mohammed Shami’s estranged wife, Hasin Jahan, has welcomed the Calcutta High Court’s decision directing the Indian pacer to pay a monthly alimony of ₹4 lakh as a significant victory. As per the court's order, Jahan is to receive ₹1.5 lakh per month for herself, while ₹2.5 lakh is allocated for their daughter’s maintenance. Expressing relief, Jahan called it the result of a long and difficult legal battle she has been fighting since their separation.

Shami and Jahan got married in 2014 and had a daughter in 2015. However, their relationship took a turbulent turn in 2018 when Jahan accused the India pacer of domestic violence, leading to their separation. Since then, the couple has been involved in a prolonged divorce and alimony dispute. The court’s recent verdict marks a pivotal development in the ongoing legal proceedings between the two, ensuring financial support for both Jahan and their daughter.

"I am thankful to God that I finally got victory after fighting such a long battle... Now I will be able to give my daughter a good education and maintain her life easily... If you see the life Shami leads, the status he maintains, his earnings, this amount is nothing in comparison to that... We had demanded Rs 10 lakhs from the court around seven years ago. Since then, Shami's income and inflation have both increased. The status with which he leads his life, my daughter and I also have the right to maintain the same status," Hasin Jahan said.

It was "the best moment" for Hasin Jahan: Imtiaz Ahmed

Hasin Jahan’s advocate, Imtiaz Ahmed, confirmed that the Calcutta High Court has ordered Mohammed Shami to pay ₹4 lakh per month as maintenance to Jahan and their daughter, adding that the amount could potentially increase to ₹6 lakh. Calling it the “best moment” for Jahan, Ahmed reflected on her long legal struggle that began in 2018 when she accused Shami of domestic violence. Jahan had filed a petition in the Alipore court, seeking ₹7 lakh monthly to support herself and their daughter.

"From 2018 to 2024, she had been running from pillar to post. Ultimately, it was pronounced in open court yesterday that Rs 1.5 lakh would be provided for Hasin Jahan, Rs 2.5 lakh for the daughter (both to be paid monthly), and that any time the daughter requires assistance, it would be provided by Mohammed Shami. The High Court has directed the trial court to dispose of the main application of the interim order within six months. There is a high chance that when they return to the trial court to conclude the hearing on maintenance, it might be upgraded to Rs 6 lakh because the claim of Hasin Jahan in her maintenance application was for Rs 7 lakh and Rs 3 lakh," Imtiaz Ahmed added.
