Then Moeen Ali came and did the finishing touch by scoring a quick 33 from 13 balls. From the Indian bowlers, Harbhajan Singh was the most successful one with 2/18 in 3 overs.

In response, the India Champions showed intent in the chase but fell short, finishing at 200/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Despite that, England's Ajmal Shahzad turned the game with a match-winning spell of 4/31, while Stuart Meaker took 2/55.
