After winning the toss and choosing to bowl, Knights executed their plan perfectly and restricted the Sharks to only 165/7 in their 20 overs. Mir top scored with 47 from 37 balls, while Ishaq and captain Sharafuddin Ashraf chipped in with 34 and 23, respectively. Sharafuddin Ashraf was also the pick of the bowlers for the Knights, finishing with 3/15. Mujeeb-ur-Rahman and Mohammad Nabi provided strong support with a wicket apiece.

In the chase, Mis-e-Ainak Knights were powered by a magnificent unbeaten 102 from Khalid Taniwal, who took full control of the innings.
Afsar Zazai anchored the other end with a steady 47 off 47 balls as the pair put on 144 runs for the second wicket. The Amo Sharks' bowling attack lacked penetration and struggled to break this partnership while being regularly countered to the boundary. The Knights chased down 166, finishing with 166/3 in just 19 overs for an emphatic 7-wicket win to continue their great form.

After this result, Mis-e-Ainak Knights climbed to the top of the SCL 2025 point table with 8 points and a net run rate of +0.564 after five matches. The Amo Sharks have lost their second game of the season and stay on 6 points from five games, dropping to second place in the SCL 2025 with a net run rate of -0.084.

In the 11th Match of the 2025 Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL), Mis-e-Ainak Knights played against Amo Sharks at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium. The Knights elected to bowl first and restricted the Sharks to a competitive score with tight bowling. Though Imran Mir and Mohammad Ishaq provided good beginnings, Amo couldn’t capitalize in the death overs. Khalid Taniwal then led a dominant chase with a sensational century. The Knights sealed a comfortable 7-wicket win with an over to spare.

Amo Sharks Innings

Batting first, Amo Sharks posted a competitive total of 165 for 7 in their 20 overs. Imran Mir anchored the innings with a composed 47 from 37 balls, with Mohammad Ishaq contributing 34 from 28 to set up momentum in the middle overs. Captain Sharafuddin Ashraf contributed with a quick 23 off 16 balls to propel the Sharks into a late push. However, they struggled to accelerate in the death overs against disciplined bowling. Knights captain Sharafuddin Ashraf was brilliant with the ball, claiming 3 wickets for 15 runs from 4 overs. Mujeeb-ur-Rahman (2/31) and Mohammad Nabi (1/21) gave support to restrict the Sharks.

Mis-e-Ainak Knights Innings

In reply, Mis-e-Ainak Knights cruised to victory on the back of a magnificent unbeaten century from Khalid Taniwal. He smashed 102 not out from only 52 balls with powerful strokeplay and good timing all through the innings. Taniwal was well supported by Afsar Zazai, who played perfect foil with a solid 47 from 47 balls as the duo shared a dominant 144-run stand. The Knights’ chase was methodical, and they kept the required run rate under control from start to finish. Amo Sharks’ bowlers, despite early promise, failed to break the partnership or build pressure in the middle overs. Mis Ainak comfortably reached the target in 19 overs, winning the match by 7 wickets and climbing to the top of the points table.
