The current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen a number of exceptionally long and breathtaking sixes, with the batters easily clearing the boundary with their brute strength. Going forward, here are the longest sixes from the season thus far:

Travis Head (SRH) - 105m

Travis Head, representing the Sunrisers Hyderabad, hit the ball out of the park in the Rajasthan Royals (RR) match by scoring a one-of-a-kind 105-meter long six, which eventually took the prize for being the season's longest.

Aniket Verma (SRH) - 102m

One of the Young Guns for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Aniket Verma, went berserk by cracking a 102-meter six off the bowling of a Delhi Capitals (DC) bowler. Verma, in the match against DC, played a fabulous shot that was a full-length delivery and off the pads of the DC pacer. He moved to the off-side and sent the ball way above deep mid-wicket into the stands.

Tristan Stubbs, a Delhi Capitals player, clinched the third position as he banged out a 98-meter six against Lucknow Super Giants. Sherfane Rutherford, a key player in Gujarat Titans, was proved right his good finish potentials by hitting a 97-meter six against Punjab Kings.

Nicholas Pooran, also representing Lucknow Super Giants, smote a 97-meter long six in the match with Sea Eagles, Sunrisers Hyderabad.

With many games still to be played, fans are looking forward to finding out if Head’s achievement will be surpassed!

HEINRICH KLAASEN

Heinrich Klaasen is a Fear for bowlers because of his ability to hit massive sixes. The South African batter is one of the best when it comes to sending the ball into the stands. It doesn’t matter who the bowler is or where they pitch the ball, if Klaasen connects, it’s gone. From 2023, only one player has hit more sixes than Heinrich Klaasen (168) in T20s. Playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025, he has freedom to hit the big and massive strokes. Don’t be surprised if he smashes the longest six of the tournament.

In IPL 2024, Heinrich Klaasen was a key player for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He played 16 matches and scored 479 runs at a strong strike rate of 171.07 and an average of 39.91. His best score was 80 (not out), and he smashed 38 sixes and 19 fours. With four half-centuries, Klaasen is a big hitter and an important player of SRH’s batting lineup. Heinrich Klaasen hit a massive 106-meter six in the RCB vs SRH match during IPL 2024. It was the longest six of the tournament and even landed on the roof of Chinnaswamy Stadium.
