The match will be played at the beautiful Newlands ground in Cape Town.</span><span id="input-sentence~1"> It’s set to be an exciting start to South Africa’s top T20 league. The Boxing Day match will kick off the holiday season in style, with plenty of action for cricket fans in South Africa, India, and all over the world.</span></p><h3><span id="input-sentence~2"><span id="input-sentence~0">SA20 Season 4 Schedule Is Out – Opener at Newlands</span></span></h3><p><span id="input-sentence~2">On Saturday, December 27, there will be the first double-header of the season. Centurion will see Pretoria Capitals play Joburg Super Kings, while Paarl Royals face Sunrisers Eastern Cape at Boland Park in Paarl. Durban’s Kingsmead Stadium will be busy just before New Year’s.</span><span id="input-sentence~3"> It will host MI Cape Town on December 28 and Joburg Super Kings on December 30. New Year’s Eve, December 31, will have two big games. Sunrisers Eastern Cape will play Paarl Royals at St. George’s Park in Gqeberha. Later, MI Cape Town will face Pretoria Capitals at Newlands.</span><span id="input-sentence~4"> This match will start at 9 PM IST.<br><br>The fun continues on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2026. Joburg Super Kings will take on Durban’s Super Giants at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. League boss Graeme Smith said announcing the fixtures is a big step.</span><span id="input-sentence~5"> “We’ve planned it so families can enjoy cricket during the holidays. We’re also really happy to have New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day matches for the first time,” he said.<br><br>Smith also talked about the support from India. “It’s been amazing to see how many Indian fans follow SA20.</span><span id="input-sentence~6"> Players like Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Wiaan Mulder have become popular. India is very important to us, and we hope more fans come to South Africa for the games they won’t regret it.” The teams will pick their squads at the auction on September 9.</span><span id="input-sentence~7"><br><br>The action keeps going in January. On January 2, Boland Park will see a Cape derby between Paarl Royals and MI Cape Town. Both teams won all their home games last season. On January 3, there will be another double-header.</span><span id="input-sentence~8"> Joburg Super Kings will play Sunrisers Eastern Cape at the Wanderers. Pretoria Capitals will take on Durban’s Super Giants at Centurion. The playoffs start with Qualifier 1 on January 21, the Eliminator on January 22, and Qualifier 2 on January 23. The Final will be on January 25.
