The International League T20 2025-26 (ILT20), Match No. 3, will be played between Gulf Giants (GG) and MI Emirates (MIE) on Thursday, December 4, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Both of them have impressive-looking squads and will be keen to get off to a winning start in the competition.

Gulf Giants were the champions of the inaugural season of the ILT20, and their performance has seen a slump in the last two editions. The team finished third in 2023-24, then slumped to fifth position in 2024-25. This year, they will aim for a big comeback. With James Vince as captain and experienced players like Moeen Ali, Azmatullah Omarzai, Tabraiz Shamsi, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, the Giants will look to start the new season in a positive way.

MI Emirates, who won the 2023-24 championship, have otherwise had mixed results in the league. Led by Kieron Pollard, the team is filled with match-winners such as Nicholas Pooran, Jonny Bairstow, Shakib Al Hasan, and Fazalhaq Farooqi. With such a strong lineup, MIE will be confident of starting their season with a victory.

GG vs MIE: Pitch Report

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium's surface provides generous help for bowlers, particularly during the early stages of the match. There, batters need to be very cautious and not play any risky shots, as movement off the surface may create problems. The average score at this venue is approximately 140, which often proves to be competitive. Teams that bat sensibly, build partnerships, and accelerate later in the innings usually succeed here.

The Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 continues with Match No. 9, where the in-form Pakistan A (PAK-A) will take on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Tuesday, November 18. Both teams are heading into the match with very different situations in the tournament.

Pakistan A, Led by Irfan Khan, has been quite excellent so far. They have already sealed a semifinal berth after winning both their opening encounters quite convincingly. They started off with a 40-run victory over Oman and followed it up with a thumping eight-wicket win over India A. Confidence will be high as Pakistan A will look to keep their winning momentum going.

On the other hand, the United Arab Emirates have struggled in the tournament. They were first crushed by India A by 148 runs. In their second match, they fought hard against Oman but lost on the very last ball by just two wickets. That defeat ended their chances of reaching the semi-finals, and they will now play for pride and improvement in their remaining games.

PAK-A vs UAE: Pitch Report

The pitch at the West End Park Stadium has started to slow down as the tournament progresses. While the first few games were high scoring, this surface may now be a bit more difficult for batting. Spinners are expected to play a big role, especially in the middle overs. Batters will need to make the most of the powerplay when scoring is easier. A score around par will depend on how well teams handle the slower conditions.

The Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 continues with Match No. 10 will see the important Group B game between India A (IND-A) and Oman (OMN) clash at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Tuesday, November 18. This match is almost like a virtual qualifier, as the winner will strengthen their chances of entering the knockout stage.

India A began their tournament in brilliant fashion. They defeated UAE by a massive 148 runs with a stunning century from Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who powered India A to 297/4. Their bowlers then restricted UAE to 149/7. However, they could not continue their winning run in the second match, losing to Pakistan A by eight wickets as Pakistan chased down 137 in just 13.2 overs. India A will now look to bounce back strongly in this must-win encounter.

Oman showed a good fight in their first match, even though they lost to Pakistan A by 40 runs. They did much better in the next game where they chased down 155 runs against UAE off the very last ball, winning with two wickets in hand. That thrilling win would have given them some confidence, and now here they are to take on India A in this all-important contest.

IND-A vs OMN: Pitch Report

The surface at West End Park Stadium is not overly conducive to batting but is not too difficult to navigate. Batters need to take advantage of the powerplay when fielders are inside the circle, as scoring becomes tougher once the ball gets older. Losing early wickets can put teams under pressure, so building partnerships will be very important. A competitive total is likely to depend on how well teams handle the early overs.

The Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 moves ahead with Match No. 8 between Bangladesh A, BAN-A, and Afghanistan A, AFG-A, which is scheduled to take place this coming Monday, 17th November, at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. Both sides go into this game coming off a victory in their last outings and will want to keep their momentum going.

Bangladesh A made a thumping start to their campaign, chasing 168 runs in just 11 overs against Hong Kong. The star of the match was Habibur Rahman Sohan, who smashed an unbelievable 100 off 35 balls*. His aggressive innings completely took the game away from the opposition and gave Bangladesh A a big boost at the beginning of the tournament.

Afghanistan A also came up with a fine performance in their last encounter. They won by three wickets in a tight game. Sediqullah Atal's quick 54 off 27 was the key factor, while the four-wicket haul was brilliant, having set up the win with 4/45 in four overs. The match went right down to the wire, but Afghanistan A held their nerve and finished the chase.

BAN-A vs AFG-A: Pitch Report

The pitch at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium is generally good for batting. Teams may have found it easier to score runs here compared to bowling. Historically, sides batting first have done well at this venue. However, bowling first can also be a smart option because teams get a chance to understand how the pitch behaves. The chasing team might also have a strong chance of winning if they manage the innings well.

The Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 continues with Match No. 7, where Sri Lanka A (SL-A) will face Hong Kong, China (HK) on Monday, November 17 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha. Both teams come into this game after suffering defeats and will be eager to bounce back.

Sri Lanka A lost a close game against Afghanistan A by three wickets with just one ball left. Despite the defeat, they showed fighting spirit, especially with Milan Rathnayake’s quick 41 off 19 balls, which kept them in the match. They will now aim to put up a stronger all-round performance and open their account in the tournament.

Hong Kong earlier suffered a crushing defeat on the same day when Habibur Rahman Sohan of Bangladesh A stroked a magnificent 100 off 35 balls, which took the game out of their grasp. Following such a heavy defeat, Hong Kong will hope to regroup quickly for this coming match.

The teams will feel the importance of a win on Monday to keep their hopes alive of reaching the knockout stage.
Expect a competitive and highly energetic contest with both sides battling hard to keep themselves in the competition.

The Women’s Big Bash League 2025, is moving ahead with its Match No. 12, where Adelaide Strikers Women are scheduled to play against Perth Scorchers Women on Sunday, November 16, at the Junction Oval in Melbourne. Both teams will look to strengthen their position as the tournament steps into its next phase.

The Adelaide Strikers Women are currently fourth in the points table. They have one win from two completed games, and a further match had no result due to rain. The Strikers have been in good early form and will be looking to carry on that momentum on Sunday with another win.

The Perth Scorchers Women are positioned sixth with one win from three matches. Two losses have been part of the journey so far for the Scorchers, and they will look to bounce back. Improvement in rhythm, getting back to winning ways, and collecting important points will be what the Scorchers aim for to rise up the order.

The Junction Oval pitch is very good for batting, especially for teams with a chase.. Batters that spend time at the crease will score freely due the surface playing consistent and offering value for shots. Fast bowlers won’t get very much help and the spinners might see some help in the first few overs. Captains might elect to bowl first with the good chasing conditions.

The Women’s Big Bash League 2025 continues with Match No. 11, where Sydney Thunder Women take on Sydney Sixers Women at the Drummoyne Oval in Sydney on Saturday, 15th November. The two teams also met recently in the T20 Spring Challenge, so they will be familiar with each other’s strengths going into this match.

The Sydney Thunder Women have had a tough start to their season. They failed to defend their totals in both games so far. They lost their opening match to the Hobart Hurricanes Women by six wickets and then faced another defeat against the Melbourne Renegades Women by four wickets. The Thunder will now be hoping to turn things around and get their first win of the season.

The Sydney Sixers Women began their campaign on a strong note with a huge 10-wicket win over the Perth Scorchers Women. However, they could not hold onto that momentum and lost their next game against the Hobart Hurricanes Women by six wickets with 19 balls remaining. The Sixers, therefore, will look to bounce back and move upwards into the points table with a better performance in this match.

ST-W vs SS-W: Pitch Report

The pitch at the Drummoyne Oval is known to be difficult for batting early in the innings. The new ball often causes problems, and scoring runs can be challenging. Because of the tricky bounce and early movement, captains may choose to bat first and put pressure on the chasing team. Bowlers are likely to enjoy the conditions, especially in the first half of the match.

The  Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2025  continues with the 10th match between Hobart Hurricanes Women and Brisbane Heat Women at Drummoyne Oval in Sydney on Saturday, November 15. This will be an important match for both teams as they go ahead into the next phase of the league.

The Hobart Hurricanes Women have made a fantastic start to their season. The team has won both matches that it has played so far and is occupying the top spot in the points table. Strong performances from the key players of the Hurricanes will see them continue to perform well and solidify their position even further.

However, the Brisbane Heat Women are finding it quite difficult at the moment. They lie at the bottom of the points table and have not secured a single point as yet in this season. The team will be desperate to get out of the losing habit and get their first win of the tournament. A win here would give them immense confidence and help them get on track in this campaign.

HH-W vs BH-W: Head-to-Head Record

  • Matches Played: 23
  • Hobart Hurricanes Women Won: 8
  • Brisbane Heat Women Won: 14

HH-W vs BH-W: Pitch Report

Drummoyne Oval has always been a tough pitch to bat on, especially when the match begins. The surface actually helps the bowlers, and therefore, it is quite hard to score runs freely at the beginning of the match. Because of that fact, in a majority of cases, teams try to bowl first after winning the toss. The boundaries are pretty moderate in size, and batting tends to be easier during the second innings of the match when the pitch settles down.

The Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2025 goes ahead with Match No. 9, where Adelaide Strikers Women (AS-W) will play against Melbourne Renegades Women (MR-W) on Friday, November 14 at the Karen Rolton Oval in Adelaide. This will be the second match of the day. Both teams recently played each other in the T20 Spring Challenge in October, so they know each other well.

The Adelaide Strikers Women did not get a full game in their first match of the season because rain stopped play. Their game against the Melbourne Stars Women ended without a result. Before the rain came in, Amanda-Jade Wellington bowled very well for the Strikers, taking 2 wickets for 20 runs in her 4 overs. However, the Strikers had given away 184 runs in 20 overs and could not start their chase properly.

The Melbourne Renegades women have started their season strongly. They won both of their matches by successfully chasing the targets set by Brisbane Heat Women and Sydney Thunder Women. With two wins, they are currently at the top of the points table and will want to continue their winning momentum in this match as well.

AS-W vs MR-W: Pitch Report

The Karen Rolton Oval has hosted 31 WBBL matches since 2018. The pitch gives a fair chance to both batters and bowlers. Batters can score runs if they play carefully, and bowlers also get some help, especially spinners as the match goes on. Teams that win the toss usually choose to bat first here because batting first has often worked well at this ground. The same is expected in this match.

The Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2025 will continue with Match No. 8, where Perth Scorchers Women (PS-W) will face Melbourne Stars Women (MS-W) on Friday, November 14, at the Karen Rolton Oval in Adelaide. This is the first of two matches lined up for Friday in the tournament.

The Perth Scorchers Women did not have the ideal start to their season, as they lost their first game to the Sydney Sixers Women by 10 wickets. However, they came back strongly in their next game and beat Brisbane Heat Women easily. Having won a game and lost one, the Scorchers are currently positioned fourth on the points table and look to carry this good form forward.

On the other hand, the Melbourne Stars Women had their opening match against the Adelaide Strikers Women washed out because of rain. They have one point on the board and will be hoping to start their campaign properly with a strong performance on Friday. With experienced players on their side, the Stars will aim to earn two points and move up in the standings.

PS-W vs MS-W: Pitch Report

The pitch at the Karen Rolton Oval is fresh for this season. Even though this is the first WBBL match at this venue in 2025, the ground has hosted 31 WBBL games in the past. The pitch usually helps batters, offering good bounce and making it easier to score runs. Spinners might get some help as the match goes on. Teams that bat first have often done better here, so the captain winning the toss is likely to choose to bat first.
