Then Moeen Ali came and did the finishing touch by scoring a quick 33 from 13 balls. From the Indian bowlers, Harbhajan Singh was the most successful one with 2/18 in 3 overs.

In response, the India Champions showed intent in the chase but fell short, finishing at 200/8 in their allotted 20 overs. Yusuf Pathan played a brilliant knock of 52 off 29 balls and was well supported by Yuvraj Singh (38 off 27) and Stuart Binny (35 off 13). Despite that, England's Ajmal Shahzad turned the game with a match-winning spell of 4/31, while Stuart Meaker took 2/55.
