A funny incident took place on the cricket ground as the bowler dropped the catch and the batter was out at the end. The hilarious incident saw bowler bowling a short pitch delivery as the batter tried to smack it over covers. He misjudged the ball and the ball covered only the vertical distance.

Later, the bowlers did well to get himself under the ball falling right on the pitch and dropped the catch. Event got further escalate when the dropped ball richocheted to the stumps as the batter was running towards the other end. The ball went onto hit the stumps and the batter was short of his crease as his leg was in the air. The players went into frenzy looking at the unusual mode of dismissal.

Batter got run-out in abrupt way

This is not the first time this sort of incident took place recently. A video recently went viral where a batter defended the ball into the point region as the fielder fielded the ball and smashed it into the gloves of the wicket keeper. The keeper wasn’t able to take the ball cleanly. But in doing so, it hit the gloves and came out of the gloves.

The batter, meanwhile, tried to take a single and came out of his crease. The ball, however, rolled onto the stumps to find the batter out of the crease. As the rule suggested, it was dismissed given that the keeper gloved it in the middle path. It was a hilarious moment as the batter couldn’t believe his luck, while the fielding side started to celebrate.
