Seattle Orcas Win Last-Over Thriller Against MI New York in MLC 2025

Match 18 of the 2025 Major League Cricket season turned out to be a run-filled rollercoaster at Grand Prairie Stadium, Texas. Seattle Orcas chased down a huge total to beat MI New York by 3 wickets in a thrilling final-over finish.

After being asked to bat first, MI New York made the most of the batting-friendly pitch. Their captain Nicholas Pooran was in top form, smashing a brilliant 108 off just 60 balls. He hit boundaries and sixes all over the ground. Tajinder Singh gave him good support, scoring a 95 runs in only 35 balls. Together, they helped MI New York reach 237/4 in 20 overs. MI New York tried their best with the ball. Trent Boult was their Key bowler, taking 3 wickets for 31 runs. Delano Potgieter got 2 wickets, and Rushil Ugarkar picked up one. In the end, Seattle reached 238/7 with just a few balls to spare, pulling off one of the most exciting wins of the tournament. Both teams played some top-quality cricket, but it was the Orcas who held their nerve when it mattered most.
