Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav is preparing for an important moment in his personal life after India’s T20 World Cup 2026 victory. The left-arm wrist spinner will tie the knot with his childhood friend Vanshika Chadha on March 14. The wedding ceremony will take place at a resort in Mussoorie. A reception for family, friends and cricket personalities will be organized in Lucknow on March 17.

Kuldeep reportedly postponed his wedding plans earlier to focus fully on India’s World Cup campaign. The ceremony was initially planned for November 2025. However, the spinner decided to delay it so he could concentrate on the tournament. India eventually went on to win the T20 World Cup 2026.

During the tournament, Kuldeep played one match for India in the group stage. He delivered a tidy spell against Pakistan, picking up one wicket for just 14 runs. Meanwhile, his father Ram Singh Yadav recently met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The visit was to personally invite him to the wedding celebrations.

Who is Vanshika?

Vanshika Chadha shares a long connection with Kuldeep Yadav as the two have known each other since childhood. Both of them belong to Kanpur and grew up close to each other. Over time, their friendship developed into a relationship. The couple made their engagement official last year in Lucknow.

According to reports, Vanshika works at the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Her family also has connections with the organization as her father previously worked there. Unlike many partners of cricketers, she prefers to keep a low public profile. She is rarely seen on social media or in the spotlight.

Kuldeep’s wedding is expected to attract several well-known personalities from the cricket world. His long-time coach Kapil Dev Pandey confirmed that the celebrations will start on March 13 with haldi and mehendi functions in Mussoorie. After the wedding festivities, Kuldeep will shift his focus to the upcoming IPL 2026 season where he will represent the Delhi Capitals.
