Pitch Report

The pitch at VCA is still presenting the batters with difficulties in a two-paced bounce. Paces early in their innings have been aided with some seam movement, while later on in their innings, spinners have had some influence. Teams have struggled to score quick boundaries; long dimensions make it hard. Captains may want to bat first. Target 120-130 to be competitive.

  • Nature of Surface: Two-paced; seam early, spin later
  • Key Bowling Types: Seamers (early), Spinners (middle/death)
  • Boundary Dimensions: Large; six-hitting not easy
  • Captain's Likely Decision: Bat first
  • Average First Innings Score: 126
