Gujarat Giants Women played a great all-round game to win against UP Warriorz Women by 45 runs in Match 14 of the WPL 2026 played at Vadodara. Batting first after losing the toss, they scored 153/8 in 20 overs. Sophie Devine played the key role with the bat, staying till the end and guiding the innings after Gujarat lost wickets at regular intervals.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women kept their strong performance going in the WPL 2026 with a 61-run victory over Gujarat Giants Women in Match 12 at Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. Gujarat won the toss and decided to bowl first but RCB made the most of the conditions as they scored 178/6 in 20 overs.

Gautami Naik was the mainstay of RCB’s innings, scoring a well-paced 73 off 55 balls, which included seven fours and a six. After early wickets, she steadied the innings along with captain Smriti Mandhana and later received good support from Richa Ghosh. Useful runs at the end from Radha Yadav and Shreyanka Patil helped RCB reach an above-par score.

In reply, Gujarat Giants Women struggled right from the start and slipped to 34/4 inside the powerplay. Sayali Satghare and Nadine de Klerk bowled tight spells to keep the pressure on Gujarat. Captain Ashleigh Gardner tried to fight back with a 54-run knock, but lacked support as Gujarat finished on 117/8. Gautami Naik was named Player of the Match for her match-winning knock as RCB stayed unbeaten. With this win, RCBW becomes the first team to qualify for WPL 2026 playoffs.

Batting first, RCBW scored a total of 182/7 in 20 overs, with Radha Yadav contributing immensely to the score with 66 off 47 deliveries to anchor the innings.

Mumbai Indians Women picked up their winning momentum in the WPL 2026 by claiming a convincing 50-run victory against the Delhi Capitals Women in Match 3 on January 10 in Navi Mumbai. After losing the toss, MIW batted first and showed positive intent, putting up an impressive total of 195/4 in 20 overs.

The MI innings was spearheaded by captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Nat Sciver-Brunt, who batted peacefully, keeping the scoreboard ticking all the time. Harmanpreet played a captain’s knock, remaining unbeaten on 74 off 42 balls, while Sciver-Brunt supported her well with 70 off 46 balls. Their partnerships helped Mumbai stay in control, even though Nandani Sharma bowled well for Delhi and picked up 2/26.

In reply, Delhi Capitals Women could not keep up with the high target and they were bowled out for 145 in 19 overs. Chinelle Henry tried to fight back with 58 off 33 balls but the rest of the batters could not support her. Mumbai’s bowlers performed well, with Nicola Carey (3/37) and Amelia Kerr (3/24) doing most of the damage. Harmanpreet Kaur was awarded the Player of the Match for her match-winning performance as MIW sealed their first win of the WPL 2026 season.
