India lost the toss, but captain Suryakumar Yadav said the team was planning to bat first anyway. He also revealed the team composition for the clash against the USA.

“We were looking to bat first. It looks good here. I played a lot of cricket here. There’s some wind as well, so I don’t think there will be a lot of dew later. Of course, there will be a little pressure. We can’t run away from that, but it’s a new tournament. We want to play the same way we have in the last one or two years and continue the same,” Suryakumar Yadav said at the toss.
