India already moved into the Super 4s by winning two back-to-back matches. Oman is already knocked out of the tournament. Two teams on different notes make Match 12 (India vs Oman) of the Asia Cup 2025 a dead rubber. As the Oman cricket team has nothing to lose, they can enjoy the moment against the team India can offer their best by swinging the blades. Unlike the pitch of Dubai International Stadium, where spinners get some assistance from the soil, Abu Dhabi's pitch is mostly known for its batting-friendly nature. The team batting first will definitely try to pile up a heap of runs to put pressure on the team batting second.

The coin landed in favor of team India, and without any hesitation, India captain Surya Kumar Yadav elected to bat first, which was not surprising. They will try to test their batting strength as much as possible as a part of Super 4's preparations. The bowlers of Oman will have to do a lot of tasks to prevent Men in Blue from registering a mammoth total. India made two changes in their playing combination as Harshit Rana came in, and the other name Yadav failed to remember. SKY jokingly said he has become like former captain Rohit Sharma.

"We are looking to bat first. We have not batted first in this competition and we want to know our depth. Having game time is important going into the Super 4s. We want to continue the good habits we are doing in the first two games and want to continue to do that. It is looking nice and our openers will assess it further", Yadav said.

"I would have batted first. It is a great experience to take from here. Our team is young, lack exposure but this gives them a good chance to come here and test themselves. It is a great opportunity to share the field with India and get a look at their mindset. We have two changes", Oman captain Jatinder Singh mentioned.
