India (IND) will take on Pakistan (PAK) in the much-awaited final of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 28 at 8 PM IST. This encounter marks the first time both teams are squaring off in a summit clash of the tournament, which intensifies cricket's fiercest rivalry. It will also be their third meeting in this edition.

India comes into the final with great form, having not lost a game so far. Abhishek Sharma is at the top of the batting charts while Kuldeep Yadav is the leading wickettaker which highlight IND’s all-round superiority. The Men in Blue will be looking to continue the good form and capture their ninth Asia Cup title, meaning a PAK team that has lost twice to them already in 2025 will be on their radar, for a third match win in a row.

Despite the fact that both losses have come to IND, they have shown fight with the help of team performances. This final, provides them with the opportune moment to get redemption from their last two games with an emphatic win.

India (IND) and Pakistan (PAK) will once again face off in the Super Four of the Asia Cup 2025 tournament at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 21, at 8:00 PM IST. This will be the second time both teams meet in this tournament after India comfortably beat PAK by seven wickets in the group stage. This time, there will be more at stake behind the line, if intensity is created in the first group stage matchup, there will be a lot of intensity on and off the field.

The Men in Blue have been the team to beat, winning all three of their games in this tournament. In their last game against Oman, India won their last game by 21 runs, they were testing out their bench strength and at the same time, rotating their batting order. India began their tournament first with a comfortable 93-run win against Oman, but then they lost to India and bounced back with a 41 run win over the UAE in a must-win game.

The last time these two teams met, India refused to shake hands with the PAK players right after the Pahalgam attack. So, with tensions still high, there will be tension again leading into this high-voltage matchup, and fans can expect an entertaining game.

Pakistan will face off against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Match No. 10 of the current Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, 17 September. This match is a de facto knockout, as the winner will guarantee themselves a place in the Super Four.

Pakistan is coming off a tough seven-wicket loss to arch-rival India. With one win from their two matches, the Men in Green must win here to keep their campaign alive. Although they hold the advantage in net run rate from their comfortable win over Oman, losing another match could lead to their tournament exit. The UAE  on the other hand, are coming into this match with their heads held high after their victory against Oman. A win against Pakistan not only sends the Men in Green out of the tournament, but it will also help UAE make history by qualifying for the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup for the first time ever.

India and Pakistan will square off in a possible spark-filled Asia Cup 2025 clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, although the match will be played under exceptional security arrangements. The heightened measures come in the aftermath of the April Pahalgam terror attack and the political sensitivities that have followed. Dubai Police and the city’s Events Security Committee (ESC) have issued strict advisories for spectators, warning of heavy fines, jail terms, and zero tolerance for disorderly behavior.

The two sides last met at the same venue during the ICC Champions Trophy earlier this year, where India secured a victory. However, the tensions surrounding both countries and the depression of families in Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack have made this clash more politically sensitive than originally planned. As a result, Dubai authorities have ramped up preparation with a traffic and venue plan that is very thorough.

According to the advisory, spectators are required to arrive at least three hours before kickoff, bring valid tickets, use only designated parking areas, and strictly adhere to the one-entry-per-ticket rule. Unauthorized parking and blocking nearby roads are strongly discouraged, with officials stressing that these measures are designed to ease congestion and speed up security checks.

Comprehensive Security Measures and Strict Penalties

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations and head of the ESC, confirmed that specialised units are on standby, while organizers have tripled the security presence around the stadium. Police will patrol the perimeter, checkpoints have been strengthened, and frisking has been made more rigorous to prevent any breach. The processes are also stricter for media accreditation and anyone who breaks the rules risks losing their accreditation.

In addition, a wide range of items have been banned inside the venue, including fireworks, flammables, lasers, umbrellas, sharp objects, toxic substances, oversized cameras, selfie sticks, banners, remote-controlled devices, bicycles, scooters, pets, and glass items. Pitch invasions or any attempt to disrupt play will be treated as criminal offenses. Penalties range from AED 5,000 to AED 30,000 in fines, alongside potential jail terms of one to three months. For non-nationals, deportation remains a possible consequence. Authorities have urged fans and groups to exercise restraint and comply fully with the stadium rules.

India will enter the match as favorites due to their consistency in the format in recent times. Pakistan will have to bring their A-game to the fore to beat the fearless Indian lineup.

India cruised to a thumping victory against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their first match of the Asia Cup 2025. After choosing to bowl first, India’s spinners and all-rounders ran through the opposition batting line-up, getting them for just 57 runs in 13.1 overs. Kuldeep Yadav was spectacular, taking 3 wickets in one over, while Shivam Dube added vital breakthroughs. With such a small target, India’s top order collapsed the game into 4.3 overs, with a nine-wicket victory. Below are the main reasons for the United Arab Emirates' defeat:

1. India’s ruthless spin attack bowled UAE out for 57

India used Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Dube to great effect: Kuldeep claimed 4 wickets for 7 runs (3 wickets in a single over), and Dube claimed 3, with help from Axar Patel, Bumrah, and Varun Chakaravarthy. Together, they reduced UAE to 57 all out.

2. UAE batting lacked substance beyond a brief opening stand

A small opening partnership of only 26-30 runs between Muhammad Waseem & Alishan Sharafu did provide a tiny glimmer of hope, but it was lost very quickly by India's bowlers, and none of the UAE batters showed any resistance. The batsmen collapsed under very aggressive, disciplined bowling.

3. India’s lightning-fast chase sealed the one-sided contest

India only needed 4.3 overs to chase down the target and win the match by nine wickets. Abhishek Sharma (30* off 16) and Shubman Gill (who early on helped the chase) made quick work of the small target and showed the gap of experience between the teams.

The hosts, India (IND), will kick off their Asia Cup 2025 campaign against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday, September 10, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. With Suryakumar Yadav in charge, India will be aiming for a strong start to their title challenge, with a view to bettering their poor T20 record and reclaiming the top prize in T20 cricket.

The Men in Blue have not played a T20 international for months, with their last game in the format coming overseas earlier this year against England. Most of India's players played in the 2025 Indian Premier League with lots of T20 action, but this is their first T20I since. Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah are among those pivotal if India is to progress, while the UAE, led by Muhammad Waseem, will have to rely on key players such as Rahul Chopra, Simranjeet Singh, and Haider Ali to take the fight to the mighty hosts.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has entered the Final, where India and New Zealand will face each other on Sunday (March 9) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Here, we are predicting the pitch report for the Final match.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Pakistan pitches were much batting friendly

Pakistan hosted all the non Indian matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore was one of the most talked-about pitches in the tournament as it was a batting paradise, where bowlers had the hard luck. That venue experienced three 350+ totals in the tournament. If India missed out on the Final of the tournament, the ninth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy Final would be played at Gaddafi Stadium.

While Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium managed to produce only one complete match out of three fixtures, the National Stadium in Karachi set up three good matches.

Meanwhile, India have played all their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 matches at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. As India won all their four matches of the tournament, they are clearly favourites for the Final.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Pitches at Dubai International Cricket Stadium

In the Group A matches, India beat Bangladesh and Pakistan by six wickets each. In their last group stage fixture against New Zealand, India successfully defended 249 runs and won by 44 runs. Against Australia in the first Semi-final, India successfully chased the challenging target of 265 runs.

Unlike the Pakistan pitches, the Dubai pitch is much slower. Before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the pitches were used for other matches, so there is no fresh pitch available for the tournament. The Dubai pitches are more useful for the spinners, while the set batters play the key role for the batting side. The pitches aren't the best examples for the big hitters as it is difficult to smash the ball regularly, especially for the new batters. During the ongoing tournament, the dew hasn't affected at this venue, which makes the venue more difficult for chasing as the pitch nature becomes slower with time progress in the ODIs.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Final is likely to be played on a fresher pitch, much like the India vs Australia Semi-final pitch. If it is true, we can expect some better batting performance. But if the Final pitch reacts slower, spinners will dominate the game. While India likes to chase along with their strong batting potential in the first batting, New Zealand may face more difficult task in chasing.
