The third edition of this League recently concluded, but it is witnessing an impressive rise in its popularity. The 2025 season witnessed some intriguing contests between some of the best sides in the League. It also witnessed some of the best bowling performances from some of the best T20 bowlers in world cricket.

In this piece, we highlight about three bowlers who registered the best bowling figures by taking wickets during crucial moments of the game that changed the fate of a particular game. The bowlers mentioned in the list possessed different skills as far as their ability to adjust their length and variety as per different playing conditions and wickets, but they were the game changers for their respective sides. We discuss these bowlers in detail:

His length, combined with his late swing, troubled the Seattle Orcas batters. Texas Super Kings scored 188/5 in 20 overs batting first, and Milne's performance helped TSK win by 51 runs at the Central Broward Regional Park, Lauderhill, Florida. He claimed 14 wickets in the entire season. Milne took the crucial wicket of former Australian opener David Warner.

Dwayne Bravo recently requested the USA Cricket Board to include Unmukt Chand in the USA national side. He stated that the former India Under-19 World Cup-winning captain shouldn't be victimised due to politics.

The 32-year-old left India for the USA in the hope of getting playing opportunities in the USA national team. Since moving to the USA, Unmukt Chand has so far not made his debut for the USA national team and has been overlooked by the selectors, which is surprising.

Unmukt Chand is currently playing for the Los Angeles Knight Riders team in the Major League Cricket (MLC). Currently, Bravo is the head coach of the Los Angeles team. He stated in his Instagram post: "This guy needs to be in the USA cricket team! Cricket is bigger than politics; let's do right for these players. Well done!."

Bravo commented on Unmukt Chand after the right-hander scored a brilliant 86 in 56 balls against Seattle Orcas on the 22nd of June during the MLC game. The right-hander has looked in decent form during the 2025 MLC season so far, scoring 161 runs in 4 innings with a strike rate of 134.16.

Unmukt Chand on his exclusion from the USA national team during the 2024 T20 World Cup

The 32-year-old stated that he was surprised after not being included in the USA team for the T20 World Cup. The right-hander had stated (through Cricbuzz) in a press conference last year that he had worked hard for the last 3 years for the mega event. Unmukt Chand also played for Mumbai Indians in the 2015 IPL season helping the team win the trophy, scoring 300 runs in 15 games.

"That wasn't an ideal situation to be in. Because personally, for me, this was what I had dreamed of for the last three years. Obviously, it was a big shock. And it took me time to sort of come to terms with it. It's never easy as a player, having lost all these things back home in India, to having this one goal, which had kept me going for the last three years not happening. So it is difficult. I won't say which just happened. But it was difficult. I was not my best self for some time," Chand said.

Knight Riders Finally Taste Victory with Stylish Win Over Orcas

In Match 12 of MLC 2025 at Grand Prairie Stadium, Texas, the Los Angeles Knight Riders finally got their first win of the season, beating the Seattle Orcas by six wickets in a high-scoring game.

Seattle won the toss and chose to bat first. They got to 177/6 in 20 overs, thanks to a calm and steady 44 from Aaron Jones. David Warner also looked in good form with 38 off 28 balls, while Shayan Jahangir gave the innings a late push with 26 from just 15 balls.
The Knight Riders bowled well, with Andre Russell, picking up 3 wickets for 30 runs. Shadley van Schalkwyk and Jason Holder took one wicket each and kept things tight during the middle overs.

In reply, the Knight Riders chased down the target with ease.
Unmukt Chand played a match-winning innings of 86 from 58 balls. Saif Badar gave him good support, scoring a quick fire runs 54 runs in just 32 balls.

With only a few runs left, Sherfane Rutherford came in and finished things off quickly, hitting an unbeaten 20 from 9 balls to seal the win in just 18.2 overs. Seattle’s bowlers struggled to stop the flow of runs. Sikandar Raza, Harmeet Singh, and Jasdeep Singh took one wicket each, but it wasn’t enough to defend the total.

Former India U19 World Cup skipper and current USA international Unmukt Chand produced a fine performance for the Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAS) against the San Francisco Unicorns (SF) in the third game of the 2025 Major League Cricket (MLC) season. The game, played on Sunday, June 15, at the Oakland Coliseum in California, witnessed Chand producing a classy half-century while chasing an intimidating target set by SF.

Pursuing 220 LAS lost early as Alex Hales was sent back to the pavilion for a mere six runs.
Unmukt Chand came in at no. three and stabilized the innings despite the loss of Andre Fletcher for 19. Chand put together a brisk 46-run stand with Nitish Kumar, who made 18 runs. Chand later put together 33 more runs with Matthew Tromp. Chand’s knock of 53 off 32 deliveries, featuring four boundaries and four sixes, kept LAS in the hunt.

However, despite a few late cameos, the Knight Riders fell short. Matthew Tromp scored 41 off 31, and skipper Sunil Narine struck a brisk 27 off 13 balls. But the lower and middle order were unable to carry it through, with Andre Russell dismissed for a two-ball duck.
LAS were bowled out for 187 in 19.5 overs, losing the game by 32 runs. Xavier Bartlett and Haris Rauf dominated the Unicorns' attack, claiming four wickets each.

Allen-Fraser-McGurk Duo Lays the Foundation

Earlier in the match, SF were sent to bat and lost Tim Seifert early for a mere five. But Finn Allen and Jake Fraser-McGurk run riot over LAS bowlers with a blistering 121-run partnership off just 55 balls. Allen scored 52 off 27 balls, while Fraser-McGurk illuminated the stadium with a scorching 88 off 38 balls, striking two fours and a whopping 11 sixes.

Down the order, Cooper Connolly contributed 20 not out off 18, and Haris Rauf came in with 16* off 7 to take SF to a dominant 219/8. In the LAS bowling department, Shadley van Schalkwyk picked up three wickets. ed up three wickets.
