Rinku Singh, the lower-order batter of the Indian cricket team, has not featured in the 2025 season of the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for their first two group-stage clashes of the event against the Muhammed Waseem-led Pakistan at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. 

Rinku, the India batter, has smashed an overall 3221 runs in 142 innings of the T20s at an average of 34.26 and a strike rate of 148.22 with the help of 17 half-centuries at the best score of 79 runs. In 11 innings of the IPL 2025, the southpaw clubbed 206 runs at an average of under 30 and a strike rate of 153.73.

In his off-time in Dubai, Rinku has been seen on an Abu Dhabi road, where he came with a packet of biscuits and shared a funny moment with Kuldeep, who was amazed by the batter’s act, as the hilarious moment went viral on various social media platforms.

India had a cakewalk in their first group-stage clash against the United Arab Emirates, who got bundled out for 56 runs in the first innings. In reply, Abhishek Sharma smashed a fine knock of over 250 strike rate of while Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 22 runs in nine balls at a strike rate of more than 200 to complete the chase with 93 balls to spare and nine wickets in hand.

It was another easy game against Pakistan in Dubai for the Blue Brigade. Kuldeep Yadav’s four-wicket haul, with support from Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel, restricted the Salman Ali Agha-led side to a low score. Sky played a fine knock along with Abhishek to chase down the target by six wickets in hand.

India, even before their third group-stage game against Oman, has already qualified for the Super 4 stage and will face Pakistan on September 21, while facing Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at the same ground. The final clash of the tournament will take place on September 28 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
