The Guyana Amazon Warriors will kick off their Global Super League 2025 campaign with a well-balanced and strong 15-man squad, prepared to defend their home ground at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence between July 10-18. Having finished third in the first edition, the home team comes back stronger, with its sights on winning this year's high-pressure tournament.
The team has an ideal balance of veteran internationals and dynamic new arrivals. leading the Warriors for another season is veteran spinner Imran Tahir, ably supported by world-class T20 stars Moeen Ali, Romario Shepherd, and Gudakesh Motie. The team has added power to their top order with the signing of Evin Lewis and Johnson Charles.
Among the new faces are rising wicketkeeper-batters Jewel Andrew and Amir Jangoo, along with Afghanistan’s Ramanullah Gurbaz, Irish pacer Mark Adair, and Pakistan’s versatile Saud Shakeel.
