The star India fast bowler Mohammed Shami has recently been reported as the target of a heinous act after receiving death threats through an email. As far as the reports are concerned, an individual who identifies himself as Rajput Sindhar sent the email threatening Shami's life on Sunday evening. The cricketer's family wasted no time with the matter as Shami's brother, Hasib Ahmed, approached the police today (Monday) and filed a First Information Report (FIR). Police confirmed that they had registered an FIR and were probing the email, checking who had sent the email with the threat to Shami. The police also confirmed that they are bringing in cybercrime specialists to trace the email to the sender, as well as its origin or integrity.
