Due to the newly formed tension between India and Pakistan, venues for the IPL 2025 matches are also subject to concern. The upcoming match on May 11 between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians will be held at Ahmedabad instead of Dharamshala.
Due to the intense situation after 'Operation Sindoor,' multiple airports are closed for commercial usage. Which means IPL teams are not allowed to use those airports. Without taking a flight, teams can face serious discomfort to travel from one state to another.
So far, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is mainly concerned about the matches set to be held in the northern regions of the country. In the meantime, two IPL venues got threat e-mails. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) received an email during the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings at the Eden Gardens.

The Gujarat Cricket Association has received a threat e-mail as well, which stated, "We will blast your stadium," the email read from an ID named 'Pakistan JK.' According to a media report, the sender of the e-mail was located outside of Pakistan.
So BCCI has enough reasons to think about the safety of the players and the remainder of the IPL schedule. A match already is relocated (PBKS vs. MI, May 11), but the PBKS management has to find a suitable solution to transfer their team to another state safely and comfortably. The other teams in the league need to remain aware of the latest updates about travel. Along with Himachal Pradesh, many other airports in different cities are now not usable for commercial purposes.
