A massive win by Lahore Qalandars (LAH), who outperformed Islamabad United (ISL) in game 19 of PSL 10 by 88 runs. Haris Rauf was the star performer in the second innings by taking 4 wickets. Islamabad United lost their first game of the season while chasing a total of over 200.
ISL captain Shadab Khan chose to field first at Gaddafi Stadium after winning the toss. His decision to bowl first did not prove right as LAH batters performed in this match as a unit. Fakhar Zaman with 44 was the highest scorer of the match for Qalandars; Sikandar Raza's quick 39 was the second best and came only against 17 balls. In exchange for 6 wickets, Lahore Qalandars achieved a total of 209 in 20 overs.
Salman Ali Agha's (36) wicket proved fatal for Islamabad United, followed by Andries Gous, who scored a well-developed 41. After removing these two batters from the wicket, LAH bowlers strengthen their grips on the match. Rauf and Raza's brilliant bowling took a total of seven wickets and caused the first defeat of the season for Islamabad United.

Sikandar Raza (Player of the match Lahore Qalandar): "I train for situations, not for a number. I think we put too much emphasis on batting at a particular number. If you train well and train for certain situations, it doesn't really matter what number you're batting at."
