Popular Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma, dynamic rapper Raftaar, lyrical artist KRSNA, and the energetic hip-hop pair Seedhe Maut are all set to deliver electrifying performances that will thrill the audience and make the opening night truly unforgettable.
While talking about the opening ceremony, Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) President Rohan Jaitley said, “ We are thrilled to launch the second edition of the Delhi Premier League, ushering in a new chapter of excitement, opportunity, and high-quality cricket. This season marks a fresh beginning—not just for the teams and players, but also for fans across the city and beyond.”

The Delhi Premier League 2025 kicks off with an exciting opener as South Delhi Superstarz face off against reigning champions East Delhi Riders. With top players like Navdeep Saini, Anuj Rawat, Ayush Badoni, and Digvesh Rathi in action, the season opener is expected to be a thrilling encounter that sets the pace for the tournament.
The men’s final is scheduled for August 31, with September 1 kept as a reserve in case of weather interruptions. The women’s tournament will run from August 17 to 24, promising a week of intense and entertaining matches.
