Indian team's fast bowler Mohammad Siraj is known for his aggressive attitude. If someone tries to play mind games with him or goes against him, Siraj does not hesitate to confront them. A similar moment was seen in the first session on the last day of the Headingley Test match. Siraj had a heated exchange with England batsman Zak Crawley on the last ball of the session. Along with that, Siraj was also seen trying to get the crowd involved—he was asking them to cheer.

People on social media are comparing this to Virat Kohli’s trademark style. Many are saying that Siraj is doing exactly what Virat Kohli used to do on the field.

England needs 211 runs to win the match. They started the day at 21 runs without losing any wickets. In the first session, Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett did not allow India to take even a single wicket. By lunch, England had scored 117 runs without any loss.

The first session was about to end. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant asked Siraj to bowl the last ball quickly. Siraj came in to bowl the final delivery of the over, but Zak Crawley stepped back. Crawley said there was something in front of the sightscreen, which distracted him, so he stopped. Siraj then bowled the ball again, which Crawley defended easily.

After the over ended and the players started walking off the field, Siraj went to Crawley and started saying something. He looked very angry during the exchange. He also spoke to Ben Duckett about the incident. Not only Siraj, but KL Rahul also looked upset. While returning to the dressing room, Rahul was seen talking to both Duckett and Crawley.

Alongside this, Siraj was seen hyping up the crowd at Headingley during the 26.2 overs of England’s second innings. He was full of energy and started pulling the crowd towards the Indian team by asking them to cheer louder. This moment reminded many fans of Virat Kohli, who often does the same to lift the team’s spirit. Just like Kohli, Siraj was seen pumping up the crowd at Leeds, showing his passion and aggression on the field.

Siraj is looking for wickets

This Test match hasn’t been great for Siraj so far. He took two wickets in the first innings. In the first session of England’s second innings, he bowled well but didn’t get any wickets. In the second session, he will try to take wickets and help India move closer to victory.
