Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma is not just renowned for his spectacular batting prowess and captaincy but also for his passion for high-end cars. Among the most iconic cars in his stable has been the Blue Lamborghini Urus, a muscular and sleek SUV that fans can spot him driving in the streets of Mumbai quite often. This coveted ride of his has now mysteriously ended up with a new owner recently through a Dream11 contest!
Dream11, one of the best fantasy sports websites, enables users to choose virtual teams from actual players and score points based on their performance in live matches. For the IPL 2025 season, Dream11 took everyone by surprise when they announced a contest with the grand prize as Rohit Sharma's Lamborghini Urus.
In a two-part dramatic advertisement, Rohit was emotional and tearful, stating he was giving away his favorite SUV. The first video captured Rohit devastated at the possibility of losing his favorite car. In the second, a fan cheerfully drove the Urus off, instructing Rohit to "reach home safely." Rohit then nonchalantly jumped into an autorickshaw, jocularly instructing the driver, "Chalo, meter se chalo," affirming the car was indeed going to the contest winner.

Rohit's Lamborghini Urus, bought in March 2022, is anything but an ordinary SUV. It has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that churns out 657 horsepower, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of over 300 km/h. The price in India currently stands between ₹4.18 crore and ₹4.57 crore. The special number plate 'MH 01 EB 264' of the car is a nod towards Rohit's record ODI score. This special award has brought an exciting element to the IPL season, granting one fortunate Dream11 player's dream a reality.
