MI's development, leadership, and sheer grit are mirrored in Rohit's own IPL journey.  Even in the transition year when Hardik Pandya became team captain, Rohit's presence was felt off and on the field.   Whether his batting or his wise cricketing acumen, he remains the team's stalwart.

"Comebacks make champions," Rohit said, analyzing MI's transformation this season. It's a line that suits the team, and the man, too. Through the din, the form slumps, and the transition challenges, Rohit is the voice of reason amidst the turmoil a face MI fans still rally behind.
