Afghanistan and Bangladesh will face off in the final match of the Super 8 round of the T20 World Cup 2024. The match will be played on June 24, 2024, at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown, St Vincent, beginning at 6:00 AM. Afghanistan has certainly stepped up with a big win over Australia. They defeated England in the ODI World Cup 2023 and now beat Australia, the most successful white-ball team. They fully deserve to be in the semi-finals, as their batters and bowlers are at the top of their games. Bangladesh made it through the group stage and advanced to the Super 8, but they were unable to win. They lost both games and will finish the tournament with this final match. They have the opportunity to deny AFG a spot in the semi-final.

The Gros Islet provides a good batting surface early in the game. The pitch is firm and flat, with plenty of pace and bounce. The ball glides nicely onto the bat, and playing shots will be simple.
The weather is expected to remain overcast throughout the day, with some rain showers possible.

Afghanistan and Bangladesh will face off for the 12th time in the T20Is. We believe AFG will win this match and extend their head-to-head lead, as they have momentum. They will be confident after defeating a top white-ball team, Australia. Afghanistan deserves to be in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup based on their performance so far. Bangladesh can try to put up a good fight with their bowling, which is going well for them, but beating AFG at this stage is not easy. Considering the team combination, Afghanistan are expected to win this match.
