GT vs CSK: Like SRH, GT is a side that has managed its resources well. On paper they have some holes in the batting line-up but with Hardik Pandya steering the middle-order the line-up looks quite deep as Rashid Khan is in at number eight. With the ball, they have a lot of options as well with Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar available when needed. The way they have managed their resources is a reason as to why they are on top of the table.
The Chennai Super Kings finally won a game this season. They are still a long way from putting themselves back in contention, and with Deepak Chahar officially ruled out of the season the Super Kings have a lot to ponder. They will be naming a replacement soon, but for now they still have a lot to worry about, especially with their bowling attack.
Match: GT vs CSK
Date: 17th April 2022
Time: 7:30 IST
Venue: MCA Stadium, Pune
A hot and dry evening is expected in Pune during the GT vs CSK game.
The surface is dry and showing signs of slowing down which will help bring spin into play. However, as it is a night game, the dew factor remains and that is why bowling first remains a better option.

Both teams are likely to remain unchanged after wins in their previous encounters.
Shivam Dube
Shivam Dube came in ahead of Ambati Rayudu as CSK lost two early wickets again and provided the required impetus with his aggressive batting. He is in wonderful batting form, striking the ball well, and is a dangerous prospect coming into the game.

Hardik Pandya
After starting the season with a slow strike rate, Hardik Pandya finally came back to his usual self. He walked in at four again, played out a few overs, and shifted gears with incredible swiftness. He is back to attacking and is showing that he can bat deep, making himself a huge threat in the game.
While CSK won their previous game, bowling remains a concern. GT looks more balanced in both aspects and that leaves them in a good spot for the upcoming game.
Match Prediction: GT will win the match.
