Sunrisers Hyderabad had a wild ride in the Indian Premier League 2022. They started the season with back-to-back victories, but then went on to win five straight games to surprise everyone. However, just as they were getting near the playoffs, they lost the following five games and were eliminated.

Kane Williamson, Nicholas Pooran, Shreyas Gopal, and Romario Shepherd are among those who have left Sunrisers Hyderabad. The orange army has now released a large pool of players in preparation for the upcoming season, and they will need to recruit some reinforcements in the mini-auction. They presently have 13 open positions, including four internationally. The large fund of INR 42.24 crore left to recruit the players is the biggest plus for them.

Cameron Green

Cameron Green made an indelible impact on Australia during their pre-T20 World Cup tour to India. He took full advantage of the fielding and bowling limitations all over the place. He was also really good with the ball. Using his height, the Australian bowls the heavier balls.

The all-rounder will be available for a base price of INR 2 crore, but his final value is expected to be very high because he is currently one of the most in-demand all-rounders. He will be an expensive acquisition, but if there is a team that can afford an expensive signing during the mini-auctions, it is none other than Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Narayan Jagadeesan

Chennai Super Kings released Narayan Jagadeesan before the IPL 2023. However, they should not be feeling good right now since the batter is in the best shape of his life. Sunrisers Hyderabad require an Indian opener to bat alongside Abhishek Sharma at the top.

If the SRH franchise can sign Jagadeesan, the club will have a strong opening duo with the ability to score runs in the first six overs.

Ben Stokes

Sunrisers Hyderabad holds the largest purse for the IPL 2023 mini auctions. The Hyderabad-based franchise has INR 42.25 crore to fill 13 total seats, four of which are outside.

Sunrisers Hyderabad needs a strong personality to lead the squad in the IPL 2023 after Kane Williamson’s release. And who better to lead than the Englishman? England’s Test captain, Ben Stokes, might also lead the Sunrisers.

In addition, the all-rounder will be an ideal option for Kane Williamson at number three. Sunrisers Hyderabad will have additional monies to sign any player in the next IPL 2023 mini-auction.
