Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) confirmed their playoff spot after a high scoring affair against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), where Rishabh Pant, LSG skipper, scored an IPL ton. With the help of the century, LSG scored 227, a strong challenge for RCB. Bengaluru swiftly achieved the target with the help of a couple of half centuries from Virat Kohli and Jitesh Sharma, the stand-in captain of RCB. When a team manages to win a match under high pressure, that shows the team's mettle; Royal Challengers Bengaluru proved their character on the field and repeatedly showed, why they are one of the contenders to win IPL 2025.

In the league phase, they won all of their 7 matches outside Bengaluru and they are set to play Qualifier 1 against Punjab Kings in Mullanpur, which is an away fixture for the boys in Red and Black.

The former skipper in 13 IPL 2025 matches scored 602 runs with 60.20 batting average, powered by 8 half centuries. In the last 5 matches, Kohli produced four 50 plus innings.

Multiple match winners: Apart from Virat Kohli, RCB has multiple batters and bowlers who can change colour of a match single handedly.
