The anticipation for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is quite high as the countdown for the opening night has begun. The 19th edition of the tournament is all set to start from March 28 in Bengaluru. The tournament is a perfect platform for youngsters and players who want to perform and showcase their talent to the entire world.

The IPL has inclined towards the batters more than the bowlers, especially in the last few seasons, where we have witnessed 200+ scores quite frequently. But, in this article, we'll talk about the teams with the best bowling line-up ahead of the tournament.

Top 3 best bowling attacks of IPL 2026

  1. Delhi Capitals (DC)

The Delhi Capitals, led by Axar Patel, have a stunning bowling line-up, including the skipper himself, followed by Kuldeep Yadav, Mitchell Starc, Lungi Ngidi, Kyle Jamieson, Auqib Dar, and T. Natarajan.

These players have line, length, variations, swing, and everything that is required in a T20 match. Most importantly, they have experience of playing in India and in T20 leagues. Hence, DC are one of those teams whose bowling might look stronger than the batting attack.

  1. Punjab Kings (PBKS)

The Punjab Kings are another team that has a solid bowling attack. They have Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Cooper Connolly, Lockie Ferguson, Marco Jansen, Harpreet Brar, and Azmatullah Omarzai, who have a good record in the tournament. Chahal and Arshdeep are two of the best bowlers in T20s and have played in the tournament for a long time.

Meanwhile, Jansen, Brar, and Omarzai will have the responsibility of batting as well since they are all-rounders. If we look at their past seasons, they have contributed to the franchise in most of the matches. Hence, the fans will expect the same from the players in the upcoming season as well.

  1. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) might have suffered a huge blow as Matheesha Pathirana and Harshit Rana are most likely to miss the tournament due to injury. Meanwhile, they also don't have Mustafizur Rehman. But KKR brought in Blessing Muzarbani into the squad as Rehman's replacement for the tournament. The 3-time champions will depend more on the players who are already in the squad and will not add any more as replacements for Pathirana and Rana.

They have Umran Malik, Varun Chakaravarthy, Sunil Narine, Akash Deep, Kartik Tyagi, and Ramandeep Singh. These are some of the best players and will be extremely helpful in the upcoming season. Narine and Chakaravarthy will get help from the pitch conditions, and that will be important for KKR.
