A look at the top five batting performanes from the sixth round of the 2025/26 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) where three batters showed their excellent batting at a blistering strike rate.

Batting continues to earn massive success even in the sixth round of the ongoing 2025=26 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) as Hyderabad’s Amman Rao Perala celebrated its double century in List-A cricket against Bengal while most of the other batters recorded their respective centuries.
Vidarbha’s Aman Mokhade remains the leading run-getter of the ongoing edition with 634 runs in six innings at an average of 126.80, thanks to his 4 centuries and one half-century at the best score of unbeaten 150. Karnataka’s Devdutt Padikkal is just behind him at an average of over 100.

1. Vishu Vinod (Kerala)

When Kerala lost two wickets inside the fifth over of the chase of 248 runs against Puducherry at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, it felt a tough batting surface before Vishnu Vinod at number four and played the fine counter attacking knock of 162 in just 84 balls at a strike rate of close to 200, thanks to 13 boundaries and 14 sixes to complete the chase in 29 overs with eight wickets in hand.
Vinod has now celebrated his eighth century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, while no Kerala batter has more than 4, as he becomes only the third batter to smash 100 sixes in this tournament. He smashed the third-quickest 150 by an Indian batter in a List-A cricket match after Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Dinesh Karthik.
Brief Scores: Kerala 252/2 (Vishnu Vinod 162*, Baba Aparajith 63*, Bhupendra Chauhan 1/37) beat Puducherry 247 (R Jashwanth 57, MS Nidheesh 4/41) by eight wickets.
2. Aman Rao Perala (Hyderabad)

Aman Rao Perala was on 194 heading into the last ball of the first innings against Bengal at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, when he drilled a massive six to complete his maiden List-A century of 154 balls with the help of 12 boundaries and 13 sixes while opening the batting for Hyderabad.

With the fine knock in just his third List-A contest, Rao helped Hyderabad to notch up 352 runs in their allotted 50 overs of the first innings. Later, Mohamed Siraj’s fine bowling of four wickets helped Hyderabad claim a massive victory in the contest.
Brief Score: Hyderabad 352/5 (Aman Rao 200*, Mohammad Shami 3/70) beat Bengal 245 (Shahbaz Ahmed 108*, Mohammad Siraj 4/58) by 107 runs.
3. Vishnu Solanki (Baroda)

If the previous game for Baroda was about Hardik Pandya’s clean hitting for his century on his return to the List A cricket, then the sixth round of the Vijay Hazare Trophy has been about Vishnu Solanki’s fine knock of 132 runs in just 108 balls at a strike rate of 122.22, with 13 boundaries and four sixes.
In reply, Jammu Kashmir got bundled out for 256 as most of the batters failed to convert their starts into the three-figure mark. Four bowlers for Baroda picked up two wickets in the second innings.
Brief Scores: Baroda 332 (Vishnu Solanki 132, Priyanshu Moliya 114*, Auqib Nabi 4/52) beat Jammu and Kashmir 256 (Dikshant Kundal 66, Mahesh Pithiya 2/29) by 76 runs.
4. Aman Mokhade (Vidarbha)

Aman Mokhade continues his dream campaign in the Vijay Hazare Trophy with a century. While opening the batting for Vidarbha against Uttar Pradesh, he scored a fine knock of 147 runs in just 117 balls at a strike rate of 125.64, scoring 17 boundaries and two sixes.
However, the lone contribution couldn’t take them over the line against Uttar Pradesh, who posted 339 runs in the first innings, thanks to Abishek Goswami’s 103 and Rinku Singh’s 30-ball 57-run knock.
Brief Scores: UP 339/5 (Abhishek Goswami 103, Priyam Garg 67, Harsh Dubey 1/51) beat Vidarbha 285/9 (Aman Mokhade 147, Kuldeep Yadav 3/52) by 54 runs.
5. CR Gnaneshwar (Andhra)

Despite the five-wicket haul from the opening bowler of Andhra Pradesh, Satyanarayana Raju, Haryana was able to put a massive score of 324 after being bundled out in 49.5 overs, as their number three, H Rana, smashed a fine knock of 112 in just 91 deliveries, along with two half-centuries from the batting department.
However, CR Ganeshwar, while opening the batting for Andhra, remained unbeaten on 1 for two at a strike rate of over 100 with the help of 15 boundaries and two sixes, to reach 307 for the loss of seven wickets in 48 overs before the umpires called off the game due to bad light. It ended up in a tied match through the VJD method.
