A look at the top five bowling performances from Day 06 of Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025/26
1. Prasidh Krishna (Karnataka)

Prasidh Krishna came into this contest against Rajasthan at the Gujarat College ground in Ahmedabad after playing the three-match ODI series against South Africa at home towards the end of 2025. It was important for the Karnataka pacer to work on his length, and with some fine bowling performance, he helped his team to bundle out Rajasthan for 174 to claim the victory by 150 runs.
Krishna ended with magical figures of five for 36 in 8 overs at an economy rate of 4.5 after Karnataka posted 324 in their allotted 50 overs for the loss of seven wickets, with their captain Mayank Agarwal celebrating 100 runs thanks to nine boundaries and three sixes.
Brief Scores: Karnataka 324/7 (Mayank Agarwal 100, Devdutt Padikkal 91, Manav Suthar 2/51) beat Rajasthan 174 (Karan Lamba 55, Prasidh Krishna 5/36) by 150 runs.
2. Satyanarayana Raju (Andhra)

The right-arm pacer from Andhra Pradesh who has already featured in the Indian Premier League for the Mumbai Indians, Satyanarayana Raju, has gone through a consistent VHT 2025/26 with wickets in every single game he has featured in. In the sixth round of the tournament against Haryana, opening the bowling for Andhra, Raju ended up with 5/44 in his 9.5 overs to bowl out the opposition for 324 in the first innings. Hard to believe, but the game ended in a tie after bad light stopped the game.
Brief Scores: Andhra 307/7 (CR Gnaneshwar 142*, Anshul Kamboj 3/40) tied with Haryana 324 (H Rana 112, Satyanarayana Raju 5/44).
3. Gurjapneet Singh (Tamil Nadu)

Tamil Nadu’s left-arm pacer Gurjapneet Singh has continued his special performance from the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy to the List A cricket. He came up the ranks with some special bowling with the red ball and has now done the same with the white ball.
Defending a decent total of 259 against Tripura at the Narendra Modi Stadium B ground, Tamil Nadu needed to go through the top order of the Tripura side, and Gurjapneet Singh’s six-wicket haul in eight overs helped them in the cause as the opposition got bowled out for 205 with TN winning the game by 54 runs.
Brief Scores: Tamil Nadu 259/6 (Andre Siddharth 70, M Murasingh 2/50) beat Tripura 205 (Tejasvi Jaiswal 45, Gurjapneet Singh 6/26) by 54 runs.
4. Mohammad Siraj (Hyderabad)

Mohamed Siraj was not part of the home ODI series against South Africa and returned to the List A cricket ahead of the upcoming home series against New Zealand, starting on January 11, to get his rhythm back. After his successful stint with Hyderabad in the Syed Mushtaq Trophy, he continued the same success in the Deja Hazare Trophy.
Even though Hyderabad posted a massive score of 352 in the first innings, they needed to bowl with proper planning at the right line and length. Siraj ended with four wickets in his 10-over spell, which included the Bengal captain, Abhimanyu Easwaran, to complete the victory by 107 runs. Shahbaz Ahmed’s unbeaten century was too little in the massive chase for Bengal.
Brief Score: Hyderabad 352/5 (Aman Rao 200*, Mohammad Shami 3/70) beat Bengal 245 (Shahbaz Ahmed 108*, Mohammad Siraj 4/58) by 107 runs.
5. Chintan Gaja (Gujarat)

Gujarat, under the leadership of Chintan Gaja, welcomed Axar Patel in the previous game and put up another massive score of 333 for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Against Odisha, four of their batters celebrated their respective half-centuries but could not convert them to the three-figure mark.
In reply, the opposition was bundled out for 100 in 28.1 overs as the Gujarat captain completed a six-wicket haul for 31 runs in 9.1 overs at an economy rate of 3.4 to help them register the victory by a massive margin of 233 runs.
Brief Scores: Gujarat 333/6 (Axar Patel 73, Urvil Patel 64, Biplab Samantray 2/33) beat Odisha 100 (Samantray 22, Chintan Gaja 6/31) by 233 runs.
